The Dinsmore Composite school held their annual Skate-a-thon fundraiser on February 14th.
The school invited all 110 kids from the school out to the Dinsmore Skating Rink to raise money for Telemiracle using pledge sheets.
The Dinsmore Kinsmen also ran a hotdog and steak lunch in the rink during the same time, where kids and adults could eat and raise more money for Telemiracle.
The Kinsmen had over 200 people come out for the lunch with around 100 hotdogs and 100 steaks being sold.
The kids from the Dinsmore Composite school raised over $2500 with their pledges and the Kinsmen raised nearly $1500 with the lunch, bringing the total to around $4000.
All the proceeds from this event are going to this year's Telemiracle being held in Saskatoon.
This is the 41st anniversary of the wildly popular event.
