The Rosetown RCMP responded to two major incidents over the week of August 3rd - 10th.

On Monday, August 7th, members of the detachment received a call about the theft of a 1972 Airstream Land Yacht trailer from a yard in Rosetown. This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information about the theft is urged to call the Rosetown Detachment.

On Wednesday, August 9th, RCMP, along with the Rosetown Fire and Rescue and Rosetown Ambulance attended a single vehicle rollover. The rollover occurred on Highway 15, just 2 miles West of Sovereign. A  3 ton cube van, which was hauling granular edge, left the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle. They were found injured and were transported to the Rosetown Hospital. This matter is also under investigation.

Over the week, the detachment also dealt with 3 calls of assistance general public, 1 false alarm call, 911 calls and 4 erratic driving complaints. Members of the Rosetown RCMP Detachment and Traffic Services issued 87 tickets and conducted 1 check stop.

RCMP are also reminding everyone that there are a number of scams going on. Do not give any person information, including your banking information, over the phone.
