The Kindersley Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for this year's KBEX Awards. The KBEX Awards are Business Excellence awards that also acknowledge youth, citizens and farmers.
 
The Awards will be given out on November 3rd.

There are nine categories for people and organizations to be recognized:
 
  • Business of the Year
  • Citizen of the Year
  • Customer Service of the Year
  • Employee of the Year
  • Lend a Hand
  • New Business of the Year
  • Rural Roots
  • Young Citizen of the Year
  • Small Business of the Year
 
The Citizen of the Year Award honours a Kindersley area resident who is 21 or older and has made an incredible contribution to the community. Those under the age of 21 who fall under the same criteria can be nominated for Young Citizen of the Year.

The "Lend a Hand" Award recognizes community groups and non-profit organizations whose achievements have made a significant and positive impact in the area.

The Rural Routes Award celebrates a farmers excellence in agricultural achievement and contribution to the agricultural industry.

Forms must be handed in to the Kindersley Chamber of Commerce by 5:00 PM on October 17th to be eligible.
