Unity RCMP are investigating a theft which occurred within the Rural Municipality of Senlac No. 411 last week.

The following statement has been provided by the Unity RCMP detachment regarding the matter.

Sometime between November 5th and November 11th, 2017 a high value piece of oilfield equipment known as a blow-out preventer was stolen from a Cona Resources well site in Winter, Saskatchewan.
The equipment belongs to Cru Well Servicing and is valued at over $45,000.00. The equipment is very heavy and large and would have required the use of a trailer and picker truck to remove it from the site.
There are no suspects at this time and the Unity RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect.
Anyone with information about this or any other crimes are asked to call the Unity RCMP at (306) 228-6300, the Wilkie RCMP at (306) 843-3480 or the Macklin RCMP at (306) 753-2171. If you prefer to remain anonymous please call Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
