The Conservatives have found their candidate for the upcoming byelection in the Battlefords-Lloydminster riding.
Rosemarie Falk was announced as the successful nominee for the Conservative Party this past weekend after voting took place in Unity, Lloydminster and North Battleford on Friday and Saturday.
The Lloydminster citizen will represent the party on the byelection ballot which is set for December 11th. Kindersley's Chief Administrative Officer Bernie Morton was one of six candidates running for the nomination.
The Liberals, NDP and Green Party have yet to announce their respective candidates. The winner of the byelection will replace former MP and Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz who stepped down in October.
