A 23-year-old Alberta man is facing 10 charges in Saskatchewan following an arrest last month in Wilkie.

Raven Beaverbones of Red Deer Ab., was arrested by Unity RCMP on January 21, 2019, after officers received an earlier report of a suspicious vehicle in Landis. Officers used a spike-belt after Beaverbones refused to stop for police and fled the scene.

RCMP officers reported that Beaverbones drove the truck until the rim wore off and the truck got stuck, after which, he fled on foot before he was taken into custody.

Beaverbones was charged with dangerous driving, being in possession of a stolen truck and having property that was stolen from various locations across Alberta over the last three months.

Officers also reported that during the time of Beaverbones arrest, he had 14 outstanding warrants from British Columbia for similar offences and the province has extended the radius of their warrants for the return of Beaverbones.

Beaverbones was scheduled to appear in Provincial Court yesterday in North Battleford, West Central Online will provide updates as details become available.
