In the weekly report for the Unity, Macklin, and Wilkie RCMP; members dealt with a number of alcohol related traffic offenses. Also among the list of reports is that of a 46 year old Kerrobert man being charged with Assault and Theft Under $5000. The man was charge in Macklin.

UNITY REPORTS

  • RCMP received a complaint of theft from a motor vehicle in Scott. This matter is still under investigation.
  • Police received a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle. Reported for information purposes.
  • Members are investigating a report of an abandoned vehicle near Tramping Lake.
  • RCMP spoke to a landlord regarding an issue with a tenant.
  • Police received a report of a missing person. Members located the individual.
  • There were also two traffic complaints and one false 911 call.

WILKIE REPORTS

  • RCMP received a complaint of adults drinking alcohol in public. This matter is still under investigation.
  • A 39-year-old male from Kawacatoose First Nation was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Obstruct a Police Officer and Failure to Comply with an Undertaking during a traffic stop. Members also executed an arrest warrant at the request of another RCMP Detachment.
  • Police received a complaint of trespassing. Reported for information purposes.
  • Members received a complaint of a dog attacking a family pet. The information was referred to the Bylaw Officer.
  • RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. Reported for information purposes.
  • A 50-year-old male from Saskatoon was charged with Refusal to Comply with Alcohol Demand during a traffic stop. A traffic ticket was also issued to the vehicle driver.
  • Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.
  • An individual reported a traffic collision with an antelope on Highway 29. The Department of Highways was contacted to remove the animal from the roadway.
  • There were also five traffic complaints.

MACKLIN REPORT

  • RCMP received a complaint of an individual damaging property. The complainant requested no further action required.
  • A 46-year-old male from Kerrobert was charged with Assault and Theft Under $5000 after Members received a complaint of assault.
  • Police received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle. The registered owner was contacted and agreed to have the vehicle moved.
  • There was also one traffic complaint.
