Kindersley was hit with full force by last night's storm. The entire west central region was under severe thunderstorm watches with strong wind gusts, heavy rain and even hail.

Wind gusts got up to 89 kilometers per hour, and were able to blow over trailers, trees and fences. A few people are reporting well over 2 inches of rainfall, but Environment Canada's data is showing 32mm (1.26 inches).

Power lines went down last night and parts of Kindersley were without power. Some residents and businesses are still experiencing the outage this morning.

The Kindersley Fire Department was also called out to assist in the aftermath of the storm.
