Camping is getting set to go in Saskatchewan, as it is part of phase 1 to open to province. The reopening began its first phase on May 4 and camping reservations are allowed to start taking place this week at some parks in Saskatchewan.

This includes the Eston Riverside Regional Park, which is getting geared up for the upcoming season, with stricter guidelines due to COVID-19 and Karen Mullis says they will start taking reservations on June 1.

"We will be working to bring some campers that had already booked into our campground, we will start taking reservations on June 1, for June July, and August and we are limited to Saskatchewan residents only for the campers."

Mullis also talked about the private residents who have cabins there and what they can expect for the upcoming year.

"The cabin holders will receive notifications through social media and through there annual letter, they are required to follow the same public health guidelines that have put out to everybody residing in their homes," Mullis said.

The golf course down at the park is expected to be ready for the official opening date set by the government and Premier Moe, with all safety precautions followed, by May 15.

West Cental Online will have more on the opening of the Eston Riverside Golf Course, in sports later this week.
