It was a very special night for some of the most dedicated members on the Kindersley Royal Canadian Legion Branch #57 as members were recognized for their countless years of service on Saturday night.

Each year, the Kindersley Legion hosts this event and announces the Branch Service Medal winners over the calendar year. This year, there was a total of 3 winners that received their Branch Service Medal.

Michelle Diemert, Brian Woodrow and Jim Watson were the three Branch Service Medal Winners, and have each played a major role in making the Kindersley Legion a better place. Diemert has been a part of the Legion for approximately 10-12 years, Woodrow has been a part of the Legion for over 30 years and Watson has been involved for 5 years.

Following the Branch Service Medal winners, the Kindersley Legion announced 4 brand new names that will be inducted into the Honour Gallery. The Honour Gallery is meant for the special people that have been involved for a minimum of 30 years within the Legion, and have made major sacrifices throughout the years.

Here is a list of the 4 winners that were inducted into the Honour Gallery:

Norm Mullock - "Founding Father"

Lloyd 'Sparky' Ament - "Sargeant of Arms"

Don Staples - "President + Secretary Treasurer"

Don Fuhrman - "President + major part in Legion renovations"

These 4 gentlemen will be remembered for their efforts always as they officially were inducted into the Honour Gallery.
