November 23rd - Rosetown - The Saskatchewan Association of Fire Chiefs (SAFC) are starting preparations for an Honour Guard and ‘Full Honours’ parade for Firefighter, Darrell Morrison. Morrison’s sudden passing has much of the region left with heavy hearts as family, friends and firefighters embrace the memories made with the fallen firefighter.

MP Kelly Block of Carlton Trail – Eagle Creek, SK, continued the link of patronage by paying tribute to Morrison and outlining the selfless acts of courage and the value of the province’s volunteer firefighters.

A go-fund-me page has been set up to help support Morrison’s daughter, Cheyanne in this difficult time. Blain Mcgonigal started the page and shares, “Cheyanne is driving daily to Outlook to complete her grade 12 and graduate to pursue her dreams to become an RCMP... she is already a member of Rosetown’s volunteer Fire Department and along side her dad has recently received an EMT certificate...”

In one day, 23 people have donated to the page offering financial help, as well as, their condolences and words of support. To donate, visit the page here.

The SAFC announced the funeral service for Morrison will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at the Rosetown Civic Centre.
