The Rosetown RCMP dealt with numerous collisions, erratic driving, and thefts during the period of May 21 to May 27.

Highlighting the calls to service was a report of a two-vehicle collision on the evening of May 21. There were no injuries, and the matter remains under investigation. Then on the morning of May 22, there was a report of a theft of fuel from a Rosetown business. A 58-year-old male was charged with Theft under $5,000.00, Flight from Peace Officer and Resist/Obstruct Peace Officer. On the same morning, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a traffic collision. A 22- year-old male was charged with failing to report accident.

There were also three separate suspicious person reports. The first was on the afternoon of May 22 in Rosetown. Members spoke to the subject of complaint. Next was on the evening of May 23, and the matter still is under investigation. And finally, on evening of May 24 a suspicious person was reported in Rosetown. Members located and spoke to the subject of complaint.

Erratic driving also was included in the report, as there were two separate incidents. One on the afternoon of May 24 near Zealandia. Members spoke to the subject of complaint. There was insufficient evidence to proceed. And then on the morning of May 25, there was a report of an erratic driver on Highway 4. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.

Also in the report was a report of the sudden death of a 78-year-old male from Rosetown, Sk. The death was not suspicious in nature. And in the morning of May 25, Rosetown RCMP received a report of an individual knocking on the window of a residence. The matter is still under investigation.

There were also 25 Traffic related charges issued, two false alarm calls and two 911 mis dial calls.
