Wilkie RCMP Detachment

Wilkie RCMP had several things to include in their release for December 18th to the 30th.

Members charged a 43-year-old male from North Battleford with Failing to Comply with Probation Order at the request o Battlefords Probation Office.

A 56-year-old Wilkie female was charged with Uttering Threats after RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats.

During a traffic stop, members of the detachment issued a 21 year old from Saskatoon with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

There was a theft of a motor vehicle reported in Landis. This is still under investigation.

Also in the community of Landis, a suspicious vehicle was reported. The complainant later called back and cancelled the report as his neighbor had spoken to the vehicle driver.

A second, unrelated, suspicious vehicle was reported in the town of Wilkie. RCMP members attended and spoke to the driver.

Members attended a complaint of assault, but the complainant requested no further action to be taken.

Members also received a Mental Health Act complaint, in which the person was transported to the Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

The Detachment also conducted a well being check, received one report of fraud, two traffic complaints and one false 911 call.

Unity RCMP Detachment

There was also a lot to report from the Unity Detachment for the same time period.

Members conducted two separate Mental Health Acts. In the first incident, the person was transported to the Unity Hospital for assessment. In the second, the person was confirmed to already be in the care of the hospital.

RCMP members are currently investigating a complaint of theft that occurred at an oil site near Denzil.

Detachment members received a report of a single vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries sustained from the accident.

A second collision occurred in Unity, involving two vehicles. There were no injuries and a traffic ticket was issued to one vehicle driver.

A 37 year old female from Edmonton was charged with Failing to Comply with a Condition of an Undertaking at the request of the Battlefords Probation Office.

There was a complaint of assault. The complainant declined to lay charges and the subject of complaint was transported to a motel to spend the night.

Members also had one turned in passport, dealt with three traffic complaints and four false 911 calls.

Macklin RCMP Detachment

In the past two weeks, the Macklin RCMP had very few things to report.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. The person was located and arrested for another matter, then transported to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

There was another complaint of an intoxicated person at a residence. Members arrested the person and transported him to the cells in North Battleford until sober. No other action was taken.

Members were notified of a break and enter into a residence garage. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.

There was also two traffic complaints and one false alarm to report.
