Wilkie RCMP attended the scene of a snowmobile collision where it was reported that the driver was transported by STARS Air Ambulance to Saskatoon for assistance as detailed in the RCMP's latest report of calls. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the collision.

In Unity, a 47-year-old female was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle after officers received a report of a vehicle stuck in a snow bank.

Also during last week, a 35-year-old male from Macklin was charged with fail to comply with condition of undertaking, a warrant has since been issued for his arrest.

UNITY REPORTS

  • RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle. Members could not locate the registered owner of the vehicle. The business had it towed.

  • Members received a request to assist Emergency Medical Services. The request was cancelled before Members arrived.

  • Police received a report of an animal in distress. The complainant spoke to a veterinarian. No police action required.

  • RCMP received a complaint of fail to comply with an undertaking but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

  • There were also two false 911 calls and one traffic complaint.

WILKIE REPORTS

  • RCMP received a complaint of theft. There are no suspects at this time.

  • A 45-year-old male was charged with Fail to Comply with Probation Order at the request of Battlefords Probation Office.

  • Police received a complaint of theft but it was unfounded.

MACKLIN REPORT

  • RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members attended. The subject of complaint was transported by ambulance to Provost Hospital for assessment.

  • Police received a complaint of an individual damaging a residence door and window in Primate. The complainant requested no further action be taken.

  • There was also one false 911 call.
