UPDATE, 11:43 am -

RCMP confirmed the Highway has been re-opened to all traffic.

The accident was a motor vehicle accident involving a semi-truck and an SUV and was caused due to nearly zero visibility. 

RCMP state only minor injuries were sustained, however, are telling residents to stay home and off the roads if possible due to the current conditions.

Rosetown RCMP are on scene of an accident on Highway 7, west of Rosetown. The Kindersley detachement stated the highway is currently shut down to all traffic at the intersection of Highway 7 and Highway 4 at McGee.

With the snowfall which started this morning, visibility has been reduced in many parts of the region including Rosetown and Kindersley and the local RCMP are stating that travel is not recommended.
