The Great Annual Saskatchewan Pedal is rolling into Outlook today. The town was chosen as both the starting and finishing points for this year's cycle.

Volunteer Co-ordinator for the tour, Don Cook, explained that they rode through Outlook in last year's GASP tour aswell. They chose to come back to the town because of its beautiful location and because the residents were very welcoming.

The tour starts in Outlook with 50 cyclists traveling through the South Saskatchewan River area. They will be going to Elrose, Eston, Lancer, Swift Current, the Landing, Kyle, and Elbow before ending up back in Outlook. The cyclists will be crossing the South Saskatchewan River a total of four times on their tour that goes until July 24th.

The Great Annual Saskatchewan Pedal has been happening for many years on and off but was revived under the new name in 2005 for the provincial centennial. In 2005, to celebrate Saskatchewan, GASP went across the entire province. Since then, they've chosen a different area of Saskatchewan to tour every summer.
