If you haven’t noticed there has been tons of activity around the intersections of Highway 7 and Highway 21, and Highway 7 and Ditson Drive. Dan Palmer with the Saskatchewan Ministery of Highways explains, 

“... Saskatchewan is investing in estimated $6.5 million for some safety improvements. ... 

...The work between those two intersections ...[is] going to include things like some road widening, repaving, concrete work street and traffic light alterations and traffic sign alterations and these are for some safety improvements at the two locations. 

... And so we just ask for everybody's cooperation and we do appreciate the patience and understanding because ultimately the projects to make that highway at all those intersections better for all motorists. ...” 

Depending on weather and other circumstances, construction will begin sometime in May and finish in October.
