The Kindersley Jr. Klippers had a rough start to their four games in five days road trip, losing the first three games. But things ended on a positive note, thanks to two goals from Logan Linklater and another Logan, Falk this time in the pipes, making 27 saves in a 3-0 shutout win over the Terriers Saturday night at Westland Arena in Yorkton.

Kindersley started off strong with two goals in the opening period, with ex-La Ronge Ice Wolves player Kale Taylor scoring just over three minutes in to give the green, blue and white a 1-0 lead. The goal was Taylor's sixth of the season, with the lone assist going to speedster, Nathan DeGraves. Kindersley kept coming, as captain Logan Linklater got his 15th of the season to make it 2-0 Klippers. The Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Year nominee continued his strong game scoring at 15:09 of the second period to make the score 3-0 and it was all Falk after that, as the 19-year-old netminder had his best game of 2024 making some acrobatic saves to keep Yorkton at bay.

Kindersley now sits in sixth place and can finish anywhere for fifth to ninth in the SJHL standings, as they have a pair of games remaining.

Those games will be against rival Battlefords, but will not be until March 15 and 16, with the first game in the Battlefords and the second back at the WCEC in Kindersley.
