The Kindersley Lynco Hot Oiler Atom Kobras spent the weekend on the road with a loss and win. Saturday the team travelled to Unity and played a nail biter against Unity Atom White, unfortunately they lost 9-8 in the final minutes. Sunday the team hit the road and headed to Elrose. Puck dropped at 11am and the team finished the weekend with an 18-3 win. The Kobras have a 2-3 record after nine games played this season. The Kobras next game is Friday against the Kindersley Full Tilt Klippers on home ice at 5:15 from the West Central Events Centre.

As for the Kindersley Full Tilt Atom Klippers they were in Rosetown for the weekend and did very will taking the A side final. They won their first game easily on Saturday 10-0 over the host Redwings and kept the momentum going with a 9-2 win over the Langham Vikings. That set up the A final against Swift Current and the Full Tilt Klippers came out on top with a 4-1 win. The Full Tilt Klippers will be action tomorrow as they will play the Big Rack Vac Prairie Thunder at 6:45 from the West Central Events Centre. The Klippers are 4-0 in league play so far this season.

And lastly the Big Rack Vac Prairie Thunder were in action this weekend as well and unfortunately couldn’t come up with a win. They traveled to Dodsland on Friday night and fell 6-2. They then headed up highway 21 to Kerrobert on Sunday and were unable to beat the Tigers, losing 8-2. Next home game for the Prairie Thunder is tomorrow against the Full Tilt Atom Klippers.
