SJHL

The Kindersley Klippers took part in one game over the weekend. Friday night, they headed to Notre Dame to take on the Hounds.

Friday January 31

  • Kindersley Jr. Klippers 1 at Notre Dame Hounds 2

The Klippers will be back at home for 5 games on their last home stand of the season, starting tomorrow against  the Humboldt Broncos.


SWHL

The second weekend of the SWHL playoffs began with Wilkie and Kindersley both in action.  Here are the scores from the weekend. 

Friday January 31

  • Biggar Nationals 2 at Wilkie Outlaws 3 OT

Saturday February 1

  • Unity Miners 0 at Kindersley Sr. Klippers 8

 

Wilkie and Kindersley will look to wrap up their respective three game series' this Friday on the road in Biggar and Unity. Both Hafford and Macklin won their best of 3 series in 2 straight with the Hawks defeating Edam and Macklin knocking off Kerrobert. 



SVHL

The first official weekend of the SVHL playoffs began with a couple of upsets and some series heading to the 3rd and deciding game with Rosetown in action against Loreburn.

  • Central Butte Flyers 7 at Kyle Elks 6

Saturday February 1

  • Delisle Bruins 6 at Kenaston Blizzards 3
  • Kyle Elks 9 at Central Butte Flyers 1
  • Eston Ramblers 2 at Dinsmore Dynamos 4

Rosetown will look to stay alive tonight against the 19ers in Loreburn while Kyle Elks and Eston Ramblers will host winner take all games this upcoming weekend. Delisle can finish off Kenaston this Tuesday at home.

C Bracket

  • Biggar Nationals 2 at Kinistino Tigers 1 
  • Birch Hills Blackhawks 4 at Unity Miners 3 OT
  • Eatonia Huskies 2 at Hodgeville Huskies 8

D Bracket

  • Beechy Bombers 8 at Luseland Mallards 2

The Wilkie Outlaws will be facing the Outlook Ice Hawks of the SVHL starting with a game at home this weekend on Saturday at 7:30 and will return to Outlook on February 15 in game 2 and game 3 if needed will be in Wilkie February 16.

Biggar will be hosting Kinistino in game 2 this Saturday at 7 pm from Jubilee Stadium with the Nationals trying to move on to round 2.

Beechy will look to finish off the Mallards at home this Saturday at 7 as well and Macklin will be heading to Kyle to take on the Elks in game 1 this Saturday at 8 pm.

The Miners will head back to Birch Hills to take on the Blackhawks on Sunday and will look to stay alive after losing in OT in game 1.

The Edam 3 Stars will be starting their series against the St. Walburg Eagles this Wednesday at home and then will head to St. Walburg next Wednesday for game 2. 

And the Kerrobert Tigers will begin their series in the D bracket against the Debden Jets this weekend as the Tigers will head to Debden this Sunday for a 4 pm puck drop. Kerrobert will host game 2 on February 15 at 8:30 pm and February 16 if needed at 12:30. 

The Kindersley Sr. Klippers will not start their B series against the Lucky Lake Lakers until February 22 in Lucky Lake at 7:30 and will host game 2 on February 28 at 8 pm and will head back to Lucky Lake February 29 if needed.
