It was a quiet weekend in the Sask West Hockey League with 3 games on the schedule. Here are the scores from the weekend. 

Saturday December 28

  • Wilkie Outlaws 5 at Kindersley Sr. Klippers 9
  • Luseland Mallards 4 at Hafford Hawks 5 OT
  • Unity Miners 0 at Macklin Mohawks 5

Kindersley now has taken over number one spot in the SWHL with their victory over Wilkie and sit at 11-2 heading into the new year.



SVHL

There were only 2  games on the schedule this past weekend.

Friday December 27

  • Loreburn 19ers 2 at Delisle Bruins 4

Saturday December 28

  • Dinsmore Dynamos 3 at Kyle Elks 6

The Kenaston Blizzards lead the SVHL with an 11-2 record with the Kyle Elks right behind them with an 10-2 mark and Eston in third with a 9-3 record. 

The Rosetown Redwings are coming off a victory over the Eston Ramblers in their last league game of 2019 and have a 7-3-1 record heading into the new year and will be on the ice for the first of two road games this weekend starting in Lucky Lake Saturday and then wrapping up the weekend in Outlook Sunday afternoon.


The standings for the PJHL heading into the new year feature the Delisle Chiefs in second in the Bob Dybvig division with a 16-6-1 mark. The West Central Rage sit in last in the division with a 5-20-2 mark heading into the new year. The two teams will face each other this Saturday at 7:30 from the Kerrobert Memorial Arena.
