The 2019 Juno Awards are only a couple of months away and we now know this year's nominees.

This year's show will be hosted by Juno Award winner Sarah McLachlin and will be live from London, Ontario on March 17th.

Country music will be featured once again this year in the Country Album of the Year (won last year by the James Barker Band).

The nominees are:

We Were That Song - Brett Kissel

Country Music Made Me Do It - Meghan Patrick

Feels Like That - The Reklaws

New Tattoo Tim Hicks Open Road*Universal

A Small Town Christmas - Jess Moskaluke

Saskatchewan's own Jess Moskaluke won her first Juno back in 2017 and looks to win her second with her Christmas album from this past season.

There is a lot to celebrate in Country music from last year but Country Album of the Year isn't the only category where Country artists are featured.

Meghan Patrick hit number one last year on the Canadian Country Music charts for the first time with her song "Walls Come Down" and she was nominated in the Breakthrough Artist of the Year category.
