Last Night in the SJHL the Kindersley Klippers faced the Flin Flon Bombers. Some penalty trouble for the Klippers resulted in 3 third period power play goals for Flin Flon who cruised to a 7-3 victory.

The two teams meet again on Sunday at 6pm at the West Central Events Center.

Dexter Bricker had a great game for Kindersley with 1 goal and 2 assists.

It was Eston versus Unity in the NHL last night as Eston's Scott Hartnell and the Columbus Blue Jackets won 7-5 over Unity's Boyd Gordon and the Arizona Coyotes.

Hartnell had 2 assists and a penalty in the game.

There's hockey tonight in the Elrose Uniplex, with the North Saskatchewan Female Hockey League match up at 8 o'clock between the Elrose Aces and the Saskatoon Legends.

Outlook Ice Hawks lead the Sask Valley Hockey League this year with 8 wins and losses, they host Dinsmore tonight.

Kyle and Delisle are close behind in SVHL standings and they could catch up to Outlook with home games this weekend.

Kyle is home tonight against the Beechy Bombers. Delisle hosts the Rosetown Redwings. Also Central Butte welcomes Elrose and the Eston Ramblers welcome Kenaston.

It's a busy night in the rinks around West Central Saskatchewan.

In the Sask West Hockey League, the Eatonia Huskies are taking on the Kerrobert Tigers tonight at the Kerrobert Arena at 8pm.  

The Huskies are on a two-win streak with a 5-5 record.

After playing the Huskies, the Tigers are playing the Kindersley Red Lions tomorrow at 7pm at the West Central Events Centre.

The Biggar Nationals are set to go up against the Luseland/Dodsland Mallards on home ice tonight at the Biggar Jubilee Stadium.

The Mallards currently hold a record of 3-6.

And the Nationals are heading up to Macklin tomorrow night at 8pm to play the Mohawks tomorrow night at the Macklin District Community Complex.

The Eatonia Huskies and the Luseland/Dodsland Mallards are also playing a game on Saturday.  The game begins at 8pm at the Luseland Memorial Arena.

For all the people hoping to get out on the slopes, Table Mountain Ski Resort will be officially opening its doors tomorrow.

30 percent of the runs will be open for patrons wishing to ski and snowboard.

Full day rates are:

32 dollars for adults 16 years and up

25 dollars for youths 11-15

15 dollars for children 6-10

Children 5 and under are charged no admission.
