AAA Redwings vs. NSRHL All Stars

 

The last Klippers game of the New Year took place yesterday at 5pm.  The Battleford North Stars took the win over the Kindersley Klippers 4-2.  

The Klippers start out the New Year with a record of 18-15.

The Klippers and the North Stars are set to face each other again tomorrow night at the North Battleford Civic Centre.

The puck drops at 7:30pm.
    

In the Sask Valley Hockey League, the Loreburn 19ers are set to take on the Elrose Aces tomorrow at 8pm on home ice at the Loreburn Rink.

The 19ers currently hold a 0-10 record while the Elrose Aces hold a 3-7 record.

And on Sunday the Delisle Bruins are set to face the Outlook Ice Hawks.

The Bruins are hosting Outlook at the Delisle Arena; the puck drops at 2pm.

The Bruins are going in to the New Year with an 8-1 record.


The Kindersley Red Lions hit the ice on Sunday when they head to Unity to take on the Wilkie Outlaws.

Sitting at second in the league, the Red Lions are ready to take on the first place Outlaws.

Puck drop is at 4:45 PM at the Unity Community Centre.

In the World Jr. Hockey Tournament,

Team Canada shut out the end of the year with a loss to team Sweden on Thursday night with a score of 2-5.

Canada takes on team Finland at 11am Eastern Time.

Canada ranks third in the A group standings, with 1 win, 1overtime win and 2 losses.
