The weather cooperated over the weekend, and that's pretty much all that was needed to have another successful outdoor curling event out of Hoosier.

We got in touch with one of the organizers in Kregan Warrington to get the full story behind this event. Friday and Saturday saw the "20th somewhat semi-annual outdoor curling" go off without a hitch, as once again weather really is the key.

"Ice held up both days. That's all we could ask for."

The nice weather helped bring in a pretty nice crowd. A Friday night Calcutta chalked full of local support also made for some fun.

"There was probably a couple hundred both days there. It was pretty busy."

It might not be the Scotties or the Brier, but the fun weekend of curling is certainly marked on many peoples calendar whenever it comes around.
