Today is the day for a community gathering in Rosetown, discussing the problem of the growing deer population in town.

A local conservation officer will be leading Tuesday's community discussion at the Rosetown Elks Hall, open to all Rosetown residents.

In discussion with Rosetown CAO Darcy Olson it was shared that the meeting will focus on basic information, sharing effective methods on how to keep deer out of yards, and there will also be a question-and-answer period for concerned residents.

Another part of the meeting will have to do with recently tabled changes to the animal control bylaw in Rosetown. Olson detailed those in a separate story from earlier in January.

As noted in the poster above, Tuesday's meeting is slated to begin at 7:00 PM from the Rosetown Elks Hall.
