The Battlefords North Stars proved they were the number one team in the SJHL over the weekend, with a dominating performance over the Kindersley Jr. Klippers.

Friday's game saw a 10-1 win for Battlefords with nine different players hitting the back of the net for the Stars.

Saturday's game saw not one, but two hat tricks by two separate North Stars players. Steven Kesselring not only got three on the evening, but 40 for the season. Holden Doell was the other hat trick performer in Saturday's game and ended the season with 100 points in just 49 games played. The Stars won Saturday's game 8-0.

The North Stars finished the season with a franchise best 48-5-3 record, good enough for 99 points.
