Despite posting only 17 shots on the Humboldt Broncos, the Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers came away with the 2-1 win to put the team on a three game winning streak.

Broncos Goaltender Brett Friesen (Free-zen) made 15 saves. Kindersley's top scorer as of late Daniell Lang netted two goals goals off the teams 17 shots, something Geoff Grimwood, head coach of the Klippers, can't help but praise.

Head Coach of the Clippers, Geoff Grimwood says the game should have had a different outcome, had it not been for their newest goaltender.

"Well certainly Bilodeau in net I thought was excellent, for his first game with the team I thought he was just outstanding. And he came out of the game late with, we don't know what it is exactly, a leg injury, but Nathan Hargraves went in and did a good job so I think what you take of it is you gotta win some games that you don't deserve sometimes."

Brandon Bilideau made 34 saves off 35 shots, Nathan Hargraves took over after Bilideau suffered an undisclosed knee injury. Hargraves made eight saves to seal the win.

Bilodeau formerly played for Alberta's Red Deer Vipers of the Heritage Junior B Hockey League. Grimwood adds Bilodeau will remain the back stop in tandem with Nathan Hargraves.

With a record of 8-5-0-1 the Klippers sit third in the Finning Division. Two points behind Notre Dame.

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers next game is Wednesday, November 4th when they welcome the Estevan Bruins to the West Central Events Center.
