Atom

The Kindersley Full Tilt Atom Klippers were on the ice this past weekend in a pair of games on the road. The Klippers started the weekend on Saturday as the team travelled to Fox Valley to take on the Southwest Warriors. Kindersley won easily, 14-2.

Next action for the Klippers was a Sunday date with the Dodsland Stars Atom team and once again, Kindersley came out on top, 7-2 to push their record in league play to 8-1-1 after 10 games. The Full Tilt Klippers will play one more game before Christmas against the Unity Lazers Black team on Friday at 5:15 in their last game of 2019.

 

The Western Prairie Thunder Atom team played a pair of games this weekend, both on the road.First up for the team was the Rosetown Atom Redwings on Saturday and the Prairie Thunder came out with the victory, 7-2. The Thunder then headed to Elrose to play the Elrose Atom Aces and once again won the game, 8-2.

The Big Rack Vac Prairie Thunder sit with a 4-5-2 record heading into the Christmas break. The next game for the Thunder will be in Purdue against the Pirates at 2 pm January 4.

The Kindersley Atom 1 team had one game this past weekend in the Hi-way 14 league. The team headed to Macklin to play the Macklin White Mohawks team and fell 7-1 for their first loss of the season. Kindersley has one more game before Christmas as they will play the Kindersley Lynco Hot Oiler Kobras team on Sunday at 5 pm.

The Atom 1 team has a 9-1 record heading into play this weekend to lead the north division.


Pee Wee

The Kindersley Pee Wee 1 team had a busy weekend with three games in all. The first game was on the road in Dodsland Friday night, and Kindersley came out with the win, 10-3.
Next up was another road game on Saturday, but this time the team fell to the Macklin Pee Wee Blue team, 7-6. And finally the team headed to Outlook to take on the Ice Hawks Pee Wee team and this time won the game, 9-3 to finish the weekend with a 2-1 record.

Kindersley has 2 more games before Christmas starting with a game in Kerrobert against the Tigers on Feiday night and then one more game on Saturday against the Rosetown Redwings Pee Wee team in Rosetown to wrap up 2019.

The Kindersley Pee Wee 1 team has a 5-4-1 record heading into the weekend.


Bantam

The Good to go Trucking Bantam Klippers took a break from league play this weekend and headed to North Battleford for a nine-team tournament. In round robin play on Saturday the Klippers first took on the host Battleford Barons, but with only one goal coming from Chase Oomen, the Klippers fell 5-1.

The Klippers scoring slump continued in the next match against the Nipawan Hawks where they fell 1-0 with the Goalies from both teams looking strong.
With two losses in round robin play, Sunday saw the Klippers in the C semi final where they would face off against the Lloydminster Blazers for a chance to move on to the C final.

The Klippers broke out of their scoring slump in a big way netting ten altogether including three from Calvin Feader, and Kearin Wagner, and two from Josh Yaramovich, in what was a penalty filled affair. The Klippers won 10-3.

The C final would match the Klippers up against the Battleford Barons 2 team which had a bye to the C final and would be well rested. The Klippers kept things going from their first game of the day with a strong offensive game scoring seven, including a hat trick from Brandon Miller, and two from Kearin Wagner and Josh Yaramovich. The Barons would score one late in the third to break Kayden Elliot’s shutout hopes, but still a very strong outing for the Klippers goalie. The Klippers won the C final 7-1.

Away Dec 21 vs Eston
