A call out to the public headlined the latest report from the Kindersley RCMP:

Outside of that, while Kindersley RCMP were doing proactive patrols in the area of Kerrobert and detected a suspicious vehicle in the area, they conducted a subsequent traffic stop and the driver Deanna O’Brien was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Two counts of Possession of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking under section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and two counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of a Release Order under section 145(5)(A) of the Criminal Code.

O’Brien has been remanded for court in Saskatoon, prompting this quote from the Kindersley RCMP.

"This is a great example of our members conducting rural patrols and engaging with suspicious behaviour," stated Staff Sergeant Kevin Peterson, "We always encourage the public to call us if they see suspicious people or vehicles in their communities," Peterson went on to say.
