The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League announced their schedule on July 1.

Nothing says the SJHL is back like a doubleheader between the Kindersley Jr. Klippers and Battlefords North Stars. That's one of the matchups set to get the SJHL season underway on September 20 in North Battleford, the home-and-home continuing in Kindersley the next night September 21. Those will mark two of eight games for the Klippers against the North Stars in the 2024-2025 season, the two clubs as per usual also playing an end-of-season doubleheader.

The 56 game regular season schedule sees the Klippers also playing the Humboldt Broncos, and Notre Dame Hounds eight times each out of the Nutrien Division. Each SJHL team will play their divisional games in addition to 4 games each against non-division opponents.

The Klippers will have a heavy home schedule to start the season, before seeing a few longer road trips on the back-half. Between January 15-25 the Klippers will embark on a five-game road trip, and then between February 8 and March 15 the Klippers will play 10 of their last 12 games on the road to end the regular season.

“It is an exciting time for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League." said commissioner Kyle McIntyre in Monday's release. "Last season we had incredible parody and competitive balance, exciting playoffs and one of the most memorable league championships in recent memory. We can’t wait for the puck to drop on our upcoming season.”

This year will also feature two in-season showcases with the MJHL. Read more about that below, as this season will not be seeing the return of the ‘Warman Showcase’, the past event showcasing all 12 SJHL teams at the neutral location.
