The best senior boys volleyball teams in the province staked their claim to a spot in provincials over the weekend. Boys regionals were held over the weekend for local 1A, 2A, and 3A volleyball teams.

Starting off in Marengo, the hosts did not manage to qualify for the playoff bracket after pool play losses to Lafleche and Legacy Christian Academy. The regional champs coming out of Marengo ended up being Fox Valley, and Lafleche and Frontier also moved on to provincials.

2A play had a few local teams involved.  LCBI fared better than Lucky Lake advancing into a playoff spot, though the Bisons would lose to Kincaid, who punched their ticket to provincials alongside Ponteix and the regional champions from Moose Jaw Cornerstone.

The other 2A tournament of note took place in Wilkie. The hosts went undefeated in pool play, defeated Lashburn in straight sets in the semi-finals, before meeting up with Makwa to decide the regional champ. Both of those teams secured their spot in provincials, though Wilkie was unable to defend home court in the regional championship, losing to Makwa in a tightly contested three-set-match.

3A play had the opportunity to advance a few local teams. Unity, Biggar, and Outlook were all in Assiniboia, but it was only Unity coming out victorious and securing their spot in provincials.  Unity beat Clavet in straight sets to advance to the regional finals, but would lose to the hosts as Assiniboia, Shaunavon, and Clavet joined Unity in qualifying for provincials.

Wilkie and Unity are the only teams now left looking ahead to this weekend. Unity is hosting 3A provincials, while Wilkie will be travelling to 2A provincials in Pambrun and Ponteix.
