October sales for petroleum and natural gas, sold at an average of $220 per hectare, has raised $9.8 million in revenue for the province. After five sales where made in 2015, land sale revenues came to a total of $45.5 million.

Weyburn-Estevan sales for October, reached the most bids of sales reaching $6.7 million. Lloydminister was second highest in sales for October, hitting $1.8 million. The Kindersley and Kerrobert area marked $1.0 million and Swift Current at $357,844.
