Delisle Chiefs

The Delisle Chiefs of the PJHL are in action this weekend after falling to the 18-1 Extreme Hockey Regina Capitals last Saturday in Regina. The Chiefs will head into Saskatoon to play the Westleys on Friday night at 7:45. Then Delisle will host the Southern Rebels on Sunday afternoon at 3 pm from the Delisle Arena. The Chiefs have a 9-5-1 record after 15 games this season, good enough for third in their division. Chad Westman, from Plenty, continues to lead the team in scoring with 25 points in those 15 games with Jaden Shewchuk right behind with 24 points and a team leading 12 goals. Austin Linnen sits in third with 21 points top wrap up the top 3 for the team.


West Central Rage

The West Central Rage are getting ready for a pair of games on the road this weekend. The Rage are coming off a victory over the Prince Albert Titans at home 3-2 on Sunday and will to build off that in Fort Qu’Appelle against Fort Knox on Saturday before heading to Regina for a matinee game against the Capitals at 2:15 to wrap up the quick 2 game road swing. West Central is lead by Blake Fennig with 24 points and rookie Brayden Schultz from Unity is second with 11 points including a team leading 7 goals. Kerrobert native and rookie Avery Cholin is third on the team with 10 points. The Rage will look to improve on a 4-16-2 record heading into this weekend.
