The joint Kyle/Rosetown RCMP report shows another busy week (May 31 to June 6) in the books for our local police.

The report included but is not limited to:

  • Kyle RCMP received a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.  

  • Kyle RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter to a residence in Rosetown. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.  

  • Kyle RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in Rosetown. Members patrolled the area but found no suspicious activity.  

  • Kyle RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle near Tessier. Members located the vehicle - there was no suspicious to report.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7. There were no injuries - reported for insurance purposes.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of a grass fire near Highway 15. Members attended and found it was a controlled burn - nothing further was required.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a stolen licence plate in Rosetown.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of an RV on fire near Elrose. Members attended along with Elrose Fire Department who extinguished the fire. There were no injuries and not suspicious in nature.  

  • Rosetown RCMP are investigating an uttering threats complaint in Elrose.  

  • Rosetown RCMP are investigating a complaint of theft of fuel from a local business. 

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of mischief in Rosetown. The matter is still under investigation.  

  • Rosetown RCMP are investigating a report of a break and enter to a residence in Rosetown.  

  • Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7. There were no injuries - reported for insurance purposes.  

There were 38 Traffic related charges issued, 1 911 mis-dial call and 1 false alarm call.
