The Kindersley Senior Klippers were on the brink of elimination last night as the Macklin Mohawks came to town. After losing out in provincials earlier in the week, the Sr. Klippers responded with a big 3-2 win at home in Game 3 of the SWHL semi-final series to push the series back to Macklin.

Last night's game started out well for Kindersley as Jessey Pocock and Darian Dziurzynski opened the scoring early to have Kindersley up a pair after one period of play. Macklin's Cody McKinnon would score in the second to cut the lead to 2-1 headed into the third, but the Dziurzynski brothers would hook up for the game winning goal in the third as the Klippers escaped with a narrow win under the threat of elimination.

It was a hard fought match that will certainly carry into Game 4 in Macklin. The next game of the series is set for Sunday night at 6:00 PM in Macklin, and the Mohawks will likely be pretty tired headed into that game as a potential three game weekend awaits them depending on how their provincial series ends up with Kyle:
