Rainfall warnings are in place across central Saskatchewan ahead of a significant weather system is set to make impact to West Central Saskatchewan  Close to 100mm could fall in some areas over Thursday into Friday.

Rainfall Warnings

Due to convective showers moving through ahead its hard to project where the highest rainfalls may be. Any area seeing thunderstorm activity could see higher totals. Generally around west central area we will see 40-60mm of rain. Certain areas could seem up to 80mm or more by the time this system passes. The heaviest rainfall will be in the overnight hours Thursday into early Friday morning. 

Rainfall projections

June 13th 2022 the Rosetown area saw similar rainfall amounts in a single day causing flash flooding. Over a 100mm fell in a 24 hour span
