The calls to service for the Unity, Macklin and Wilkie RCMP from June 28 to July 4 included a 34-year-old male from Wilkie being charged with Assault with a Weapon, Assault, Uttering Threats and Breaking, Entering and Committing after Members received a complaint of assault. And RCMP are investigating a complaint of stolen fuel from a rural farmyard near Unity. Read the full report below.

UNITY REPORTS

· RCMP received a complaint of uttering threats. This matter is still under investigation.

· Police received a report of fraud. The complainant notified the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Insufficient evidence to proceed.

· Members spoke to an individual regarding undertaking conditions.

· RCMP received a complaint of a vehicle hitting a recycling bin but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· Police received a report of a gate left open at the Unity Museum. Members contacted the key holder who confirmed the gate should remain open.

· Members are investigating a theft complaint.

· RCMP acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.

· Police received a report of a stolen vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

· Members received a report of a vehicle fire north of Unity. Unity Fire Department extinguished the fire which was not suspicious in nature.

· RCMP are investigating a complaint of stolen fuel from a rural farmyard near Unity.

· Police received a complaint of a dog barking in Denzil. Members spoke to the complainant who was speaking with the Town of Denzil.

· There were also two traffic complaints.

WILKIE REPORTS

· RCMP received a complaint of theft of fuel at a local gas station. This matter is still under investigation.

· CN Police reported a vehicle almost hit by a train due to the driver disregarding the active railway crossing lights near Reford. There are no suspects at this time.

· Members spoke to an individual regarding an issue with a property tenant.

· Police spoke to an individual regarding a child welfare concern.

· A 34-year-old male from Wilkie was charged with Assault with a Weapon, Assault, Uttering Threats and Breaking, Entering and Committing after Members received a complaint of assault.

· RCMP received a report of a found dog. Members contacted the complainant who had located the animal owner.

· Members acted as mediators in a neighbor dispute.

· Police received a noise complaint. Members issued a verbal warning to the subject of complaint.

· Members acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.

· There was also one false alarm.

MACKLIN REPORT

· RCMP received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.

· Police received a complaint of theft. Members spoke to the complainant regarding banning the individual from the premises.

· Members received a complaint of a vehicle trespassing at an oil lease north of Macklin but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

· RCMP received a report of a property fire in a rural area between Primate and Denzil. The fire was extinguished by Macklin Fire Department and was not suspicious in nature.

· There was also one false alarm.
