The 2016 Ford World Women's Curling Championship has officially begun in Swift Current.  People all around the province, country and nation are eager to see how the twelve teams will compete as the matches begin.  And in Saskatchewan, Calgary's own Chelsea Carey is headlining team Canada in the World Series Finals.

Team Carey got off to a rocky start in her first game, but eventually took the victory over Team Lene Nielsen of Denmark in a final Box Score of 8-7.

Team Carey has won the 9 a.m. draw against Team Binia Feltscher of Switzerland in a final box score of 7-4.

Team Canada will be taking on Team Brown of the U.S.A tonight at 7p.m.
