Daylight saving time will take effect this Sunday, March 10, which will sync up Saskatchewan and Alberta’s clocks once again.

Residents in the surrounding provinces will turn their clocks ahead one hour resulting in more sunlight in the evening hours.

Additionally, those who travel across the provinces borders will no longer have to account for the hour time change when heading west into Alberta. However, if heading east, Manitoba, travellers will have to account for the time change.

In Saskatchewan, although our clocks will not spring ahead, many are starting to notice the longer days and warming temperatures with hopes of spring on the horizon.
