All Saskatchewan residents 70 years and older are now eligible for their four dose, second booster dose, of the COVID-19 vaccines.

The second booster dose can be given four months following your first booster dose or third dose overall.

This is in addition to residents in long-term and personal care homes and those with designated health conditions who were eligible since February.

Those eligible can book their appointments through the Saskatchewan Health Authority by calling 1-833-SASKVAX (727-5829) or with participating pharmacies. The SHA’s online booking system is not available at this time for this age group.

It's expected that all residents 50 years and older will be eligible for their second booster dose by the first week of May. Subsequent expansion of the booster dose programs will be announced at later dates.
