It's almost a week now since the devastating fires hit west-central Saskatchewan.

People are still dealing with the aftermath of last week's fires.

The Ministry of Agriculture is reporting a total death loss of over 750 cattle after following up with producers and veterinarians in the area.

Conservation officers found a handful of game-bird carcasses, they also found and euthanized six mule deer and antelope.

The quality of air has been below average due to the smoke caused by the grain that was still smouldering in grain bins.

It was only six days ago when the fires threatened the town of Burstall and surrounding area.
