A new facility aiming at improving family health and wellness has just opened its doors in Kindersley. 

Jo Simpson, coordinator and Lisa Presler, program designer are making family the focus. They are hoping to have children and caregivers grow together, while providing programs and space for different activities.

The facility is also a safe and well-stocked area for play and exploration. Making available the tools for artistic activities, building, sensory exploration, dramatic and active play, as well as language and sciences.  

Drawing attention in style

Jo Simpson in an interview explained that “the center is for all families with children, 0 to 5 and prenatal.” and would “provide information on how to contact community resources and referrals.” as well.

The Kindersley Early Year Family Resource Center has an event calendar available on their Facebook and their doors are open at 409 main street.  

This is the most recent Early Years Family Resource Centre to open, with over 15 communities around Saskatchewan also containing a center as well.
