Active cases of COVID-19 are continuing to drop, as there were 77 new cases announced on Thursday to go along with 129 recoveries. There was one more death recorded in today's update as an individual in their 70s from the Central East zone passed away due to complications from the virus. This brings the provincial death toll to 553 as of June 10.

Active cases now sit at 902 provincewide, and remain at 14 in the Central West zone. The seven-day average of new COVID-19 case number is 79.

There are 101 people in the hospital. 82 people are receiving inpatient care, including one patient from Manitoba, and there are 19 people who are in intensive care.  There were 2,503 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan yesterday. To date, 882,144 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan. 

Another 16,787 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered, bringing the percentage of the 12-or-older population with at least one shot to 66. Sixty-eight per cent of all adults in the province have at least one dose.
