The Unity & Area RCMP report from May 19-25 was highlighted with a male being charged with assaulting a police officer, and couple of break and enters in Wilkie. There was also a fire at a local business in the Town of Wilkie. 

 

UNITY REPORTS

· RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. The subject of complaint was transported to Unity Hospital for assessment.

· Police received a complaint of harassing communications. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

· CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction at Unity. Reported for information purposes.

· RCMP received a report of theft near Reward. Reported for information purposes.

· Members are investigating a report of a stolen credit card.

· CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction at Scott. Reported for information purposes.

· Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke with the subject of complaint.

· A 25-year-old Unity male was charged with Fail to Comply with Probation Order following a curfew check.

· A 33-year-old male from Scott was charged with Assault Police Officer, Resisting Arrest and Uttering Threats after RCMP received a complaint of assault.

· There were also two traffic complaint and one false 911 call.

WILKIE REPORTS

· RCMP received a report of a break and enter at St. James Catholic Church. This matter is still under investigation.

· Members are also investigating a report of a break and enter at Wilkie Funeral Home.

· Wilkie Fire Department reported a fire at a business. The fire was not suspicious in nature and was extinguished by members of the Wilkie Fire Department.

· There were also three traffic complaints and one false alarm.

MACKLIN REPORT

· RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

· Police received a report of an abandoned vehicle west of Macklin. Members contacted the registered owner who agreed to have it moved.

· An individual requested Members dispose of unwanted firearms and ammunition.
