The Town of Rosetown now has it's very own beach volleyball court.  It is located at the Rosetown Sports Grounds between the Kinsmen Outdoor Rink and Diamond #5.  Finishing touches still need to be added including lights & benches.  The court is available for use now.

Rosetown Recreation Director, Kerry Bailey says the net will be up on the posts Monday to Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.  For after hours and weekend use, individuals or teams would need to book the net by contacting Bailey at the town office and put down a deposit for use.

Bailey adds that the court may be used by anyone, and is also hoping the schools will jump on board come september and use the court while the weather is still nice.

The court was made possible by the federal and provincial government. An application was submitted for the court, which was then granted, as well as improvements to the baseball diamonds and soccer pitiches.

The court will be open for use as long as weather permits.
