The Biggar Bowl team shared some news with us recently as competitive bowling ramps up here in the month of March.
The National Championship Doubles Provincial Tournament was held in Saskatoon back on March 5th. Out of Biggar was the senior boys team consisting of Tristan and Noah, coached by Melissa Raschke. They placed in 4th in senior boys, only three points out of 3rd place out of the teams competing at the Hunter's Eastview Center lanes.
While the local team did not advance, the squad going on to represent Team Saskatchewan in the senior girls division provincially is Cassandra Raschke (previously from Biggar) and Jayda Weston (granddaughter to Bonnie & Bill Roesch of Biggar) who finished in the top spot.
They along with coach Erin Gardiner will be at Nationals from May 7-9th in Regina, as teams from all over the country will be there to compete.
