It's Minor Ball Weekend in Kindersley.
Starting Saturday morning and not ending until Sunday night, there will no doubt be some extra traffic on the basepaths in town this weekend. Minor ball president Mike Rublee shared the news during his late April appearance on the OSY Rentals Ball Report (available below).
The group successfully organized a full day of games beginning at 9:30 am Saturday, doing it all again starting at 9 am Sunday. Having the idea to get some senior teams involved, each night will also be capped off by the U18 team playing against FVBL teams in the Kindersley Cubs and Kindersley Klippers.

"We have a U9 festival coming up June 22 and 23..." Rublee explained back in April. "Great opportunity to get people into the community, out and about, so that's something to look forward to this season."
That's not to mention any upcoming tournaments still being planned.
"I'm sure there will be some more tournaments as coordinators and managers get organized throughout the year." said Rublee, saying to watch out for announcements on their Facebook page.
