It was a night out in Edmonton for all the country fans who gathered at Rogers Place for Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360.

Her tour stopped in Edmonton on May 28th with opening acts of Runaway June and Maddie & Tae. Carrie started off the night singing her new song Southbound off the Cry Pretty album and continued the night with many other new songs along with old.

Carrie made sure to take us back by singing a few older songs that she hasn’t sang on stage in awhile. She sang a melody of all her old favourites that she couldn’t fit into the setlist, this included the songs: Temporary Home, See You Again, I Know You Won’t, Just a Dream, and Dream On (Aerosmith cover).

She also took time to sing a tribute to all the wonderful women in country music, for this she brought onstage her lovely ladies that opened the tour. This included Maddie & Tae along with the three women of Runaway June: Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland, and Jennifer Wayne. Together the six women sang the classic songs of women in country music. These songs included: Stand by Your Man, Walkin' After Midnight, Coal Miner's Daughter, 9 to 5, Rockin' with the Rhythm of the Rain, She's in Love with the Boy, Independence Day, Wild One, Why Haven't I Heard from You, and Man! I Feel Like a Woman!

The tour began on May 1st and will run until October 31st making stops in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Tonight, Carrie will be in Saskatchewan as she is stopping at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.

I had the time of my life in Edmonton at the Cry Pretty Tour 360, Carrie Underwood puts on an amazing performance with her fun personality and her powerful vocals. I saw her in 2016 at the SaskTel Centre during her Storyteller Tour: Stories in the Round, she did not disappoint then and she did not disappoint now.

I can guarantee to all of you fans headed to Saskatoon tonight for her show, it will be an amazing performance and a night you won’t forget.
