The 2nd Annual Rosetown Celebrity Sports evening and auction was a massive success. Over 160 people attended. The Lions Club Volunteered. A silent auction was held with some valuable hockey jerseys, including a Connor McDavid Edmonton Oilers jersey. The Dennis Hull autographed Chicago Blackhawks jersey went for $600.

Enough money was raised to build a brand new batting cage with a net style as opposed to a chain link style. The new design will be safer and bigger. The total amount raised is still to be calculated and if enough was raised they will also be fixing the backstop on diamond 5. 

This event is also being nominated for "Event of the Year" at the upcoming Rosetown Chamber of Commerce Celebrate Success Awards night.
